Nice little '59 Lark hardtop

A pretty little blue '59 Regal hardtop for sale on eBay:

I'm not a fan of skirts generally, but this car sure screams "1959"! Gotta love that! It's a Florida car and very clean; they claim 40k original miles, but the opening bid is steep. Be interesting to see if it sells.

Hi guys,
that little Lark is a real cracker of a car.

The first time it was listed on Ebay it did not sell for 7.5k US

The next time it was listed it sold for 7.9k US to this seller.

When you see so much rubbish around, a car like this is one of the plums that even for an OS person I would not hesitate to buy, without even going to look at it. I had just bought a super nice 63 Daytona HT so am not interested.

However, you could not get near restoring a car to be like this one that is so so very original and unmolested.

There seems to be no end the the number of these get rich quick guys buying these cars for a quick flip, knowing nothing about them! I think he may deserve maybe $600.00 profit =$8500.00, for having the guts to make an investment like that, but certainly not $3400.00 no way! [xx(][xx(]

On whole cars I've seen an instance recently on a 1957 Chevy purchase that had real offers the day after the purchase that would result in $20,000 profit. The car is not for sale yet, though.
It doesn't matter what the guy paid for the car. If someone wants it at the price he wants, everyone wins.
