I would love to have one. My son and I are actually looking for a wagon to build. Its the next best thing to a Wagonaire. Are you giving one away?????

Aw, Bob! Without the tease, the details wouldn't be any fun!

Actually, the fellow seems to be fishing for a value more than a give-away.

Just talked to the fella that has these and he is sending me pictures. He is looking for around $800.00 for the wagon. It has a 289 in it, but no rear end?? It is about 75 miles north of me so I might go up and have a look for myself, if anyone is truly interested. He said he put these cars on Craigslist last night.
E-mail me if you are really interested and I will pass on the pictures he sends me.

                Hey Sal,
You had one that you sold (a 2 door 55 Conestoga). A fellow club member now has it and it's slated for to be restored....

I've found a '61 TWO door wagon. V8 automatic. Supposedly an ex-gov't car. Waiting on pics.

                    How rare are those?

                      Extremely!

It may be a U.S. Post Office issue (remember them?) maybe not!
It would have a rear seat delete! [:0]

Yep, I know it's rare. Guy told me the "Department" lettering on the door. I can't remember what it was but it wasn't Post Office.

He also kept saying "panel wagon" so I'm hoping it has the side window cover panels. The guy has a handful of Studes and seems to know his stuff.

This one has been on a couple times. Probably not local for most.

                            This one doesn't specify doors.

Now that's cracking me up. How would one know if the repair or restoration of something like that is accurate? Probably not much printed reference material to consult.

That'd be fun to have just for parades.
