    John,

I think that is the car that just sold on ebay for $4,100 last week.

Yup - thats the same car. I wonder what they accomplished in that short while that brought the price up!

Dealer mark up, might go higher if he takes it off the trailer. I did miss it on ebay, but I would have made it into a plain green wrapper anyway, and better it stays stock.

I would like to have known where the closed down Stude dealership was located that this car purportedly sat alone inside for decades. Also, with only 18K orig miles and being stored indoors, why would've it needed work on the 6cyl engine and partial restoration? [?]

That isn't a Studebaker color is it?

That is a Stude color - Green Mist Poly. An elderly couple I used to know had a one-owner '62 Daytona convertible in that shade.

If you look at the link to the eBay auction, it has the prod order and some other documents that have the name and address of the Studebaker dealership.

I am not positive that the color on the car is original. Here is a quote from the ebay ad:

"Obviously, I took some liberties with the original color, choosing to brighten it up a little"

Wonder what that really means? A repaint?
