    Export model? Or flipped photo?

Yes you can tell its a reversed photo - the 8 on the hood reads backwards.

Note that gas door is on right side. Would they move that on an export?

The script on the grill bars is also backwards.

Yup! They put that petrol flap on the right side for the secret run of Australian assembled models, so us dumb Aussies would slowly be killed off as we filled the tank from a can when we ran out of gas. That happened a lot in them bad ol days which is what broke the story of the "hidden" 2000 Starliners of which 0.05% have survived.
I managed to snag a nos right hand quarter panel and am fitting the fuel flap into it for an authentic restoration of the 0.05% car.If I brush touch that last paint chip,I hope to get 400 points.
The badge maker was dyslexic, which explained the reversal, but it didn't bother the buyers as it was a secret. That's why you don't see many of those nasty Starliners out here as the rellies knew what death traps they were! Many owners put Vanguard brakes on them, but it didn't help much.( rellies is Aussiespeak for relatives )[}]
