"Reinventing The Abbotts" by Ron Howard was on last night. The heros in the movie drove around in a 51 Champion and I also spotted a think was a 57 Hawk. The movie takes place in 1957. The Champ was in the movie all the way through. Too bad Cosmo has so many commercials. Great close up shots of the car.

Yes that is a 57 Golden hawk in the movie, a friend of mine built the car and drove it in the movie, a year or so after he sold it to a member of our chapter still a very nice car...Bob

What is with the funky angle of the wheels. Is this distortion from the photo? Nice looking car though. One just sold on ebay about 20 minutes ago. So someone has a new project, with a car like this to look forward to.:)
