Anyone know of this car-Oakland Area CA.

I know this 57 Silver Hawk belonged to a John Ritter for many years. The title slip
shows he was the owner since mid sixties. The car has been modified with a floor
shift and has hot rod flames painted on it. The name "JOHNNY" is painted on the dash
with fancy script. It probably was in drag races in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Any clues appreciated regards Mr. Ritter etc.

Could also have been in the El Centro area. That's where the pink slip was registered
in 1963.

I do not think that the math works. Dick said that the pink slip is from 1963 and Wikipedia shows the actor to be born on September 17, 1948. I doubt he was driving down the road at 14 or 15.

More info;
The car was registered in February of 1960 (my error on 1963) to John H Ritter,463 Holt Ave.
El Centro Ca. The actor's middle initial was "W" so not the owner. There are several Ritter's
around the El Centro area,so maybe a cousin, uncle or....

Just FYI, El Centro, is not near Oakland. It is East of San Diego just above the border with Mexico. Not sure what the Oakland connection is. Is that where it is now?
