That is one beautiful car but I would hate to have to make a U turn with it. [:0]

Love that color. Cars in those days weren't as drab as the black and white movies would make us think.

Beautiful car. Isn't that a '35?
The maroon color is striking, but I remember on my dad's '39 Commander, the maroon paint faded terribly. Of course, modern paints are more resistant to fading.

This may be an incredible coincidence...but it looks like the car that sold TODAY at the Atlantic City Car Show/Auction. The person selling it, Terry Young, is the man standing to the left of the car, with his back toward us, in the picture of the car on the auction block. I'll post some of my other pictures in the AC Car Show thread.

I just love mid-late 30s Studes! Don't pay much attention to them since decent ones are waay out of my price range:(

Another possible coincidence- any idea where this "Terry Young" is from? If it's central NY then I know him!

Bob,
Yes...he is from Orchard Park...he had at least six cars there today...including the President and the '57 Golden Hawk. His son was also with him. He is the guy in both pictures. Talked with him a while...said this was his "retirement job"

I just noticed - look how much closer the driver's butt is to the rear axle than the front axle. I guess since I drive a full size van I'm used to having the front axle a little closer.

Nice car in a nice setting. All that is missing is the steam engine sitting at the station in the back ground.
