View Full Version : How many Conestogas? Production numbers?

Given that I now have one for my very own... People I show pictures to say "wow, I have never seen one of those."

How many Conestoga wagons were made in 54 and 55? I'm sure someone has this info where they can get it quickly.

I have seen many of these production numbers before and have not seen a breakdown in the 55 model year for conventional (flat windshield) models vs. wrap-around windshield models.

I'm thinking there were far fewer flat window 55's than wrap arounds because finding parts for them is tough. Plus, why would you want to buy a brand new car in early 55 knowing there was going to be a model change the same year. I think I'd wait for the "newest" version.
