To me that car has every bit as much class as the Caddy of that era.

Great lines on a great car designed by Virgil Exner with credit given to Raymond Loewy. Don't believe me? Check out the design patents and see who's name is on them.

'48 LC, right? There's a near-identical car for sale near here in very nice shape, if anyone's keen on having one. I've got a pic of it somewhere on P'bucket, will post it later if there's an interest.

That is one beautiful car. A friend and member of our chapter had one just like that. He sold it at the Lancaster International Meet and it is now in Sweden.

Here's the "local" 48 Land Cruiser, seen in summer 2008 departing a Mapleview cruise.

Just a question

Which is the right headlight bezel for the 48 commander ?

Just round or it includes the small position lights as in the 47 ?

Thanks for your answers

What you see in these pictures is correct Ricardo. Only Champions had the small light in the headlight bezel. On 47-49 Commanders it is in the outside end of the centre grille bar.

Thank you very much Terry.

Even with the small lights on the grille I was confused as I have seen photo of Commanders with the small lights on the bezel. Maybe those owners liked the effect

Neat car. I like the green color.
