I am pleased to hear it is '41 Champion day but the car shown above is either a Commander or President. The shot was taken by a LIFE magazine photographer at the NY Auto Show in October 1940. The two legged model is Miss Lillian O'Donnell of Manhattan and her dress, as well as the car, were styled by Raymond Loewy and Associates.
