I've been looking around a little for pallet jacks, but have found nothing local (central NY). I did find a lot of 50 in Columbus, OH for which the seller is asking $2500; that's $50 each. He also says he's willing to sell smaller lots:
My question, admittedly a long-shot: Is anyone from that area coming to York that would be willing and able to haul any of these? If I could get 1,2,3,or 4 I'd take them, and when I build mine I would fab the pieces to make a few of them for others that want them. Others might take one at York as well; one could make some gas money for the hauling.
If we put together a group that wanted some, we could get a number and contact the seller and maybe he'll even take a little less per piece for a cash deal.
If anyone is game to pick up and haul some, let's see if we can put together a cartel
If nothing else, somebody nearby could snag one or more for themselves.
