Not my cup of tea, but not beyond hope. Interesting license plate.

Hmmm....ya know, I think I like it....looks kind of '52-'53ish. Yep, I DO like it, its a nice alternative to that old 'South Bend Ferrai' look, without transforming it into a '53 clone.

Brings to mind a question, I been gonna ask. Has any of you
tried sedan grille parts on a coupe, using a sedan hood? I
think I saw one on here a while back, but couldn't find.

IIRC, the hood of the sedan is shorter than the c/k hoods.

I know the front is shorter, but as oldguy says
"of course it will fit, I have a torch". I have
I have seen one, and I didn't know how it was done.
If the fenders were changed or what?

You may be right. The owner seems to be in Heaven with his car. You may have just pooped at his party. I like it. Poop Before You Post {maybe} Dan

I don't think that it looks too bad, but the poor thing not only has its grille opening closed up, it also has to breathe through a really tiny air cleaner.
This Hawk is from a neighboring state and I have never seen it.

I think this is the same one that was posted up while it was still in project stage (maybe an E-Bay link). It sure looks better finished than I envisioned. Steve

I think it looks pretty good- although I'd have to see better and overall pictures to really decide.

The only thing I see wrong with that car is:
                        It needs chrome bumpers,
                        chrome headlight bezels,
                        chrome taillight housings,
                        chrome valve covers,
                        chrome alternator,
                        chrome valley pan,
                        chrome fan,
                        chrome water pump pulley,
                        chrome water manifold,
                        chrome intake,
