  • GT powershift

I have a 63 GT with a automatic trans column shift that is sloppy. I would like to put in a powershift (auto-floor shifter) I would like some info on how to do this and I also need the shifter assy.

You also need the heavy duty oil cooled Automatic Trans. with the PRND21 shift pattern valve body and the flex hoses and steel lines with oil cooler.

The shifting tube, shift lever, collar for steering column and grommets for upper and lower shift arms are available at Studebaker Vendors to make your column shift like new again.
Quite a bit easier and cheaper. [^]

How close are you to KY? I think I have a 63 with powershift in it that could be had if you are willing to purchase. I don't want to have to pull it.
