  • Hang'n In The Sun

It was warm down here yesterday in Ft. Lauderdale area for the big Classic Car Show in Dania Beach. Over 100 vehicles showed. The 63 GT Hawk was swamped with admimirers. Finished in the top 20 with one of those golden statues.

A day or so ago I was driving my '58 to the Post Office and while at a stop sign, this '63 Hawk drives by in front of me. The car looked very similar to that one. Only this one doesn't have front bumper guards and has a black interior.

Took me a minute to realize it was my grandma. Still, it's pretty cool seeing another Stude on the road. [8D]

I do see one more difference. Hers has a chromed fan shroud.

Sure would be nice to have a little of that sunshine
up here in Alabama. I have spent the last three week
      in's inside.[V]

And that is a very good thing. They run much cooler (or is that 'look much cooler) with a Chrome fan shroud.
