Chris, I think it says Commander on the dash.

Yeah, I have to agree with Bob on this one. It definately looks to be a 1948 Avanti, but I think it's the higher end model with the fuel injected straight eight engine with optional DVD player in the dash.

49 Commander but I don't like the 2 piece windshield that is in it(It should have a one piece). 49's had a silver center on all the gauges. 47-48 had gold centers. It's hard to tell if its a 4 dr, or Starlight

'49 Commander. '47 &'48 Didn't have the script name over the glove boxb ut,rather a chrome piece with the name ingraved in it. Only the'47,'48,'49 Land Cruiser and convertibles had the one piece windshield.

Looks like Biggs already snaged the horn botton out of this one.
Is that the rocker trim there in the front seat? Worth something to someone.

Likely a 2 or 4 door sedan. Like Richard said, ragtops and LC's had a single piece windshield. (As did Starlight coupes.)

LC's were their own model prior to '51 anyways. They weren't part of the Commander line.

That's what I meant Matt about the One Piece Windshield being on only convt. starlight coupes on the commander line. But yes it is a 49 Commander. The jury is still out as to whether it is a 2 or 4 door.
