A search for "amphicar" did not find the previous thread - strange. It also didn't find my posting in Stovehuggers about the guy who found and raised his own sunken amphicar...

He got it for "Hauling it Away". That sound like a FREE amphicar to me. I love my Studes, but I have also wanted an Amphi since I knew about them.
Anyone else need their dead amphicar "Hauled Away" for free?

I've always thought a bulletnose would make an awesome amphicar. In Colorado, my car plowed through plenty of deep powder snow.
