The Italians designed and built beautiful cars in the 1950's and early 1960's. However, this is the exception. The front styling reminds me of a 1958 Studebaker and overall I find it rather bland. That roofline may have looked okay on a 1953-55 car, which could have been introduced as a new model in the 1960's. But regardless of my opinion of it's looks, prototype cars are very interesting.

The two door coupe is the best looking of the bunch and I think that is the one that is missing in action. Has kind of a Borgward thing going for it.

I agree that the front end of that thing is a bit over the top, but the overall design of the car is in my opinion is quite handsome. Love what look to be Studebaker hubcaps. Thanks for posting this picture. Very interesting.

What a difference there was in American taste of that era and Italian. The Lark was an exercise in clean simplicity. That car.......wasn't.
