The diesel electric hybrid should be a much better and more efficient fuel combination that the gasoline hybrids they mass produce now. What will be interesting when he is finished to see what performance and mpg is like.

Awesome. I'd walk right past 100 stock Avantis without a glance to get a better look at this car. I love modern home-grown engineering in classic cars. Very cool!
