Weather is just fine in DTB.
Was a cold front that passed through in the middle of the night.
        Weather is just fine.
Are you going to be down thataway for a while?

I think what John was mentioning is that when the front came thru, it brought heavy rain, 40 MPH winds and a couple tornados. 19 were killed, and I think most of them were in trailer parks. This was primarily in central Florida, though I'm not exactly sure where. I was able to sleep thru the storm except for the cats making noise with the blinds [V][|)].

Check it out. Seems that mobile home or not made little difference.
A large steel new church that was designated as a hurricane shelter was absolutely
flattened. Here's a link to the Orlando Sentinel . http://www.orlandosentinel.com/

Arrived in Daytona Beach this afternoon and it is cool, in the 50's but no storm damage and is supposed to get warmer early next week..

Buffalo, on the other hand was terrible at 5:30 am today...much snow and high winds, and the airport was closed for over an hour at 7:00 am until the plows and de-icing the planes could take place ...then we get to Chicago and the winds are so bad they cut back to 2 runways reducing landings from 120 per hour to 70...resulting in no planes available for the outbound folks...and it was so cold, the workers didnt want to go outside..so another 3 hour delay before leaving for Florida...at that point even 50 degrees looked good to us!!

Anyway, we are here, the food is good, and the beer is really cold!!

Studee64 : No damage here this time, but Christmas Day we were hit badly by another tornado
which did about $56M in damage . New Smyrna Beach ,just to the south was the eastern
end of this event and had a lot of damage as well. PM me if you'd like to drop by and see
my current version of Studebakerhood. A friend and I were driving his '56 one ton on
US92 (International Spdwy Blvd ) this afternoon around 3PM to hit some stores.
