    Here's a South Bend Studebaker built Curtiss-Wright engine for a B-17 flying fortress. I do believe this was built in the South Bend aviation plant on Chippewa ave.

      Studebaker assembled and tested the Wright Cyclone engines in the Chippewa Ave. Aircraft Engine Assembly Plant. They also manufactured component parts in the southern 2/3 of the plant. Studebaker had plants in Fort Wayne IN and Chicago IL which supplied parts for the Chippewa plant as well.
