  • With Heartfelt Thanks

At our SDC chapter's holiday meeting last month, we received the Harold E. Churchill award for our article "A Studebaker Family Story" that was published last year in Turning Wheels. We were never more surprised to hear our names called! It was a very proud moment for us and one that we certainly cherish. (Okay, so we called just about everyone we knew on the way home to share our good news!)

Now that we have had some time for this honor to sink in, we wanted to take the time to share our thanks to everyone who helped make this possible. We have received so much support from our friends in the SDC and from this forum in particular. We send our appreciation out to you and to the staff at Turning Wheels for your willingness to share our Studebaker adventures along with us. It wouldn't be nearly as much fun without you all. We are truly blessed to have you along for the ride!

    Congratulations on the award!

I see five stockings. I thought that you only had two children.

Congratulations John & Tracy. It's a pleasure to see your family pictures shared on this forum. It's fun to see people driving their Studes and including their family. I can't think of a more deserving family to receive the award.

I love it! There are few, if any, more deserving. You've done a lot to help promote our marque! Congratulations.
