Interesting truck. Without the top it reminds me of a 40-41 Chevy car from the front.
I wonder if it is on a different frame. You can see what appears to be part of an independent front suspension.

Thanks! The only name I could come up with in relation to these pictures is "Studster".
I would love to be able to see it in person,or at least more pictures because I want to know how that top works and any chassis details. I love to see what other peoples minds dream up and how they rebuild/reengineer something. I hope the owner will chime in with some details!
