Did the grill for 59 Lark deluxe come chrome or was it just painted a silver color?

Yes chromed steel, the top of the line '59 Regals used the same one, with the chromed pot metal surround moulding added. [^]

All chrome, even as CASO as studebaker was, they werent that cheap as to paint chrome![)] LOL

Studebaker had no problem with painting chrome. Just look at the Scotsman series of Studebakers where chrome was painted and arm rest were optional amoung other things.

Just wondering cause I found 2 that I guess somebody painted then.One looks ok but one looks like crap.
