Beautiful car!! Brings back memories of riding in the back looking out the rear window and getting carsick. Just wondering; that ac compressor looks out of place is it correct for that car or is it just too clean? Neal

It looks like a York compressor which I believe is right for the time.
It does look clean though, maybe a recent rebuild/paint job.

Is that a factory R1 wagon? The fender badge is of course for a 1964 model asnd rather high on the fender.

I just know this wagon REALLY hauls.

Awesome Peter! I love it and I want it! The condition of my Daytona Wagonaire is a far cry from your beauty, but mine has the same color interior with the third seat option. Looks like its parked in a Studebaker art museum. Do you charge admission? How come the steering wheel is on the correct side? Do you deliver mail down there? [8D]

Firstly the car is owned buy a friend of mine and is a factory R1 Wagon.
Brent he does have a little museum there as well as his 8/9 studes.
For you it's about a $1500 airfare and a 20 hr flight but once you get here admission is free.
A factory oversight meant that the steering wheel was placed on the wrong side of the car
