I have a 1963 full flow motor. I did a searched, but could not find the shipping weight of a V8 motor.

How complete is the engine you plan to ship? Ready to run, with bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, starter, generator, water pump, fan, exhaust manifolds, carburetor and air cleaner, the 289" weighs 695#. You can weigh and subtract the components you are not shipping to get a shipping weight.

I have an old copy of the first engine swapping guide that Peterson Publishing put out and the Studebaker V-8 was only lighter than the 392 Chrysler Hemi on their chart. Lots of iron in those blocks.
