  • Trolling for snow bunnies in a '39 Champ

Above: Just before installing the snow tires and chains to go out trolling for chicks. They dig the snow here in Mokena!

    Beautiful car!

I love the red pinstripe on the wheels. []

What is the story on this car, Richard?

Beautiful Richard! But where's the salt spray that belongs on the side of the doors after driving on a winter highway?

You put chains on that I will personally come up there and smack you! Or, some chick with sense will. [)]

No idea, but I almost 'T' boned a grey one 'sorta' similar to it at
that 2007 meet in South Bend when it's driver ran a stop sign... [:0]

No worries on my end-- I was in a rental!!!

Something tells me that that car was a '40 President...

I remember you telling me that story, indeed.

That car gets more beautiful every time it's pulled out for pictures. Thanks for the winter scene and the car's history.

Thanks for saving these beauties for all us later Studebaker owners to admire.

If it wasn't for the last minute i'd never get anything done.

                              Great story, Richard...thanks! [^].

                              A special car indeed.

The car was probably considered a vintage classic when you purchased it in 1969. How many 1980 cars are considered that today .
