  • 1939 Champ goes trolling

Above: Just before installing the snow tires and chains to go out trolling for chicks. They dig the snow here in Mokena!

If the chicks want to get anywhere in this weather, they stand a much better chance on those narrow treads than on the toboggans installed on today's cars.

Getting these out to breath in this weather is too cool.[8D]

    Thanks, Richard.[^]

Sorry, I intended to post this in the general category and not in the Tecchnical Talk section. I will repost it there. Maybe installing chains can qualify for the technical section??

You must have hurried to take that picture. There is almost no snow sitting on the car. What a beautiful car and a great setting for the picture.

Either you jumped out tha pass. door or bent down and had someone snap a shot for ya. cause I see no foot prints, just tire tracks.

            Richard,
Yes, that's a gorgeous car. I have never driven my Lark in snow.
I guess it wouldn't hurt the car, after all, I've driven in the rain with it. I guess my real concern is the salt the road crews spread on the snow to melt it.
            Yea, where ARE your footprints?

I'd bet you scooted across the seat, jumping out the passenger side, leaving tracks harder to see.

              Magnificent car, Richard!

...so were you successful in the chick department?
