Does anyone know what a 59-62 Lark with a V8 would weigh? I want to know which model is the lightest. Thanks.

59 Lark 2 door V8 was approx. 2,924 lbs. A lot of things could effect that.

I guess I should specify a little more. I should figure around 3000lbs. I want to know what the lightest 2dr car is with a V8. I plan on finding this lightest car and racing a blown 289 in it. I just kinda want an idea. I can't be too choosey its not like I could just order one from the factory. Thanks.

I think that would be a tie between the 1963 Lark eight Standard two door sedan and the 1964 Challenger eight two door sedan. They are each 2910 pounds base weight. A '59-'62 Lark VIII two door is slightly more ('59 two door hardtop is 3034 pounds, '60 & '61 Lark VIII two door sedans are 2921 pounds each, '62 Lark eight Deluxe two door sedan is 2925 pounds).
