Here are a few more old pictures from my album. I thought this time I would throw something out for the truck guys. This shots are all from the Estes Park International meet.

I took a the same picture of the green four wheel drive. It was one of the few Studebakers parked by itself with a nice background.

Estes Park. I guess that was 1987. My wife was
expecting our first child. I remember Fred and Linda Fox
being there.

I checked in at the motel and when we went to our room
I could not find the A/C. I went back to the front
desk and inquired. The man just laughed and said I
wouldn't be needing any A/C. In fact, he said, you'll
probably need the extra blankets in the cabinet. Sure
enough, he was right.

Not any Studebaker Meet event, just a Studebaker doing some everyday work on a ranch just a little ways from Estes Park. My grandfather and great-uncle on my great-uncle's ranch. I did a lot of growing up there. Seeing the Desert Car video of the truck pranching around made me think of many rides across the mountains and meadows around Estes Park and Allenspark in this old truck.

I couldn't remember what year that met was. I knew it was in the late 80s because we were living in Belle Fourche, SD then.

Here are a couple more. I believe that the brown one was on some kind of Oldsmobile chassis. The yellow one may have been a similar setup. Both were very low for the day.
