We found this 1952 commander. The man wants to sell it but wants offers. It is a V8 three speed overdrive. Let me know if you are interested. Dusty

Obviously rough, but not enough detail to see what's worth saving. Any chance of getting some more detailed pictures? Also approximately where is it located?

52-fan called it "rough"...it looks like a dream compared to mine. Most folks would say mine if beyond all hope but....I have faith...and if I can't git it done..I have a grandson that will.:)

will those front fenders fit a 51?

If it wasn't for the last minute i'd never get anything done.

The 52 fenders will bolt on to a 51, but will not match. There is an area that the end of the grille fits in and holes for the grille end pieces. I got into this several years ago,in reverse, when I bought the front cap off of a 51 and thought I had spares for my 52.

Wants offers, for what? The service of hauling it off? OK, I'll haul it off for a hundred bucks![:o)]

As long as you can afford it, the original condition of the car does not matter. Some cars have been rebuilt from almost nothing because they were historically significant or very rare. To spend unreasonable amounts of time, and usually money, on an ordinary vehicle when you could have bought a nice one for a fraction of the cost does not make sense UNLESS you have lots of time and money and the build is more important than the drive. For most of us it is a hobby and we don't expect to make a profit.
