  • Barney's Home!!!!

OK, first let me just say:

I pulled into the driveway about 30 minutes ago after the 11-mile drive home from the trans shop. He did great in city traffic and on the back roads; not once did the temp gage rise above the middle of the range. The transmission shifted beautifully and on one 5% grade I stuck the speedo on 50 and kept it there [8D]

My wife and son were behind me serving as "chase vehicle". Here's a few shots:

    And finally, home:

    Wooooooo Hooooo!

I was going to say the same thing, nice, aggressive but not overbearing. Cool, vintage look...I love Cragars!

Car looks great on the road.

Congrats! I know the feel, finally getting it back, and taking it for a spin. When I first got my car, I got to listen to my dad talk about how much for fun it is to drive than his '62 6 cylander,LOL! Man, that got old real fast when we took it out for a spin,LOL!

That looks like fun. FWIW, after living in the flat lands of south Florida most of my life I sure would like to spend some time in your neck of the woods.

I am going to get rid of the back up lights on my 63 standard and use 62 style, to me they look out of place...Bob
