        It appears that they utilized the patent leather dashes from the buggies (which were still being produced at the same time). Just firms up the notion that even Studebaker was frugal in good times.

          From buggies to cars, if anyone has a chance to go to the Henry Ford museum you should do so, pack a lunch cause you'll be there all day. they have they're cars in groups 1890s, 1900s, 1910s 1920s so on and so on, not all Fords either. you can see how the car elvolved from the buggy to it's present state., A must see in your lifetime.

              I too, will endorse the Ford Museum. Got there for the first time, a few years ago. It's truly historical overload! I walked FAST that day, and still couldn't see it all. As Clonelark says - it's anything BUT about only Fords![^]
