I'm looking for one of these by Shrock Bros. toys. Mainly what they are worth, how rare, etc. I will be getting a real one, so it would be cool to get the model.[8D];)
1940 Champion 2 door.

Good luck with your search. I did not see one listed (for sale)on their web site. You might give them a call.
With Shrock you have to buy the toy you like when you first see it

It's on their list but no longer in production. Was probably $95 when available.

There was a 1:43 version of this by KD Automobillia.
There was one on ebay a couple of months ago.

there's a seller on ebay selling Shrocks, seems like most of them are going for less than what they sell new. Must be the economy or it's too close to Christmas.

ebay seller - Rustybuick

you could always ask if he has one for sale.

Figured this might be a difficult find, but I WILL FIND ONE! By the way, dosent really have to be the pace car edition, just a '40 champion 2 door with the "regular" grille.:)

Who is "KD Automobillia?" If they have one too, I am interested in more info. I dont care who makes it, could be a one off from somebodys garage for all I care! I just want to find a model of a '40 Champion.:)

Like this?

Yes, the '40 Champion 2 dr was my first Studebaker purchased in the Summer of 1962 for $300. It has survived as a 1940 Indy pace car (Wisconsin Dells auto Museum). Below the way it looked in 1963 when it was the tow car for my brothers NHRA B Gas '40 Champion.

I assume you know that Jim Maxey in South Bend has one. Maybe that is the one you are buying?
