  • Hollander Interchange Manual

Anybody have access to a Hollander Interchange Manual? I am looking to see what other car manufactures used Sparton Horns.

I have one not here though, I'll look tomorrow if nobody else comes up with anything. By sparton horns you mean the 12 volt ones used from the mid fifties until the early sixties?

I have 1950, 1957 and 1966 Hollander reprints and they do not list horns in the table of contents.

You might try SKINNED KNUCKLES magazine. I think they did an article on Spartan horns some years back. Back issue could be available.

Hollander only lists parts that have to be an exact fit to function properly. Their view would be that horns are essentially all interchangeable. Furthermore, very few of the items they do list are identified by manufacturer.

Chrysler corp. used Sparton, mixed with Auto-Lite at least through the 50's. Dick
