View Full Version : Merry Christmas to All

We've been sending out photo Christmas cards every year for the last 32 years. Its funny how the family keeps growing even though they keep leaving the nest. We hope this finds all your families celebrating Christmas with joy and love. Take note: the tall one is standing on his tip-toes. The comics never want to leave the stage, eh?

In 1996 I found a black and white photo of my Father standing next to the '40 Chevy he drove until 1969. The picture was taken one Sunday after church in front of the old "Corn Crib" barn of the farm house where we lived at the time. Dad passed away just before Christmas in 1978. I scanned the photo and took some of my Studebakers, dressed similarly, and struck the same pose. I then scanned those pictures (before I went digital) and made Christmas cards for my Brothers and Sisters. Although I sent them traditional cards, they let me know this was their favorite. My Brothers passed away in 2007. Make sure to share those special moments with your family while you can... and have a very merry Christmas.:)

Yes, Mr. Biggs, you may deduce that. My wife, though, ( in front of me ) seems to be moving in the opposite direction as me in terms of looks and age. She's 51 and still is asked if she's the mom of our grandchildren, or the sister of our girls. They don't make that mistake with me.... I wonder why? ! ? ! ?
