Those are late 70s/early 80s Mopar wheels- Cordoba, Diplomat, etc.

Thanks Bams, beat me to a question about my own car, from what some Mopar guys have told me they started using them in as early as the late 60's. I am running them without the trim rings beacuse I only have two, and it sets them apart from the other Studes that are running them as well; they are also painted body color where as the 'mopar correct' way is argent in the center with a black rim.

Looks like a nice day for "foundry day." How was the turnout?
Too bad I live too far away.

46 people and 6 studes; 7 if you count the factory cart that was trailered in. Later in the day it warmed up to about 50. The morning started out in the 20's the puddles were frozen over. If you look close in the first pic, there are hunks of ice floating.

Sure looks like George W. under the "Safety first" sign. Now there's an oxymoron :)

I just like the fact that the "safety first" sign is hanging by only one rusty bolt! Thats funny! I love that wagon in the last pic!

1963 Lark, 259 V8, two-tone paint, Twin Traction. Driven often, always noticed!

I think I saw that pretty pewter-grey 62 4dr at Reedsville. The Mopar wheels look great on that car.

Well, you got the George part right. That would be my father George Krimm.

It was, with me and my parents on Friday, after all it is a 'drivers' club;). I drive it after the first hard rain washes the salt away in the spring and don't put it away until the roads are salted again the following winter. I average about 10,000 mile a year

My 62 isn't in the barn yet either. Hasn't snowed yet here; we got all the way through November unscathed. Cold, though. Drove the Lark to the Hamilton Chapter Christmas dinner last Saturday night; terrific turnout of chapter members, but I was the only one daft enough to drive there in a Stude!:D

Mr. Krimm, I also ran a set of those wheels on our Avanti for a few years. Mine came off a New Yorker I believe, and were chrome all over. At my 1st Studebaker show we put the stock hubcaps on them! Didn't drive it that way, but parked and put 'em on. Seems like we placed 2nd in Nashville- -Later got a set of Shelby wheels, stuck the round adhesive Avanti stickers I got from the club right over the CS name and emblem, and put them on. It served two purposes, looked fabulous and REALLY aggravated some of my Ford and Shelby club buddies. I loved it! John in the sunny south- -except when it's not. (Looks great on the Lark.)
