  • K body firewall

I have a 53 starliner that is a super solid Nevada body. Unfortunatly someone cut the entire firewall out of it. A 1/4" down from the back hood lip to 6" past the bottom of the toe boards. the question is what will fit to replace it? Is the C body the same? Are any of the other bodies the same? Any portions of other bodies?

I think you will find that '53 to '62 are the same, late '63 and '64's have no hole for the Defroster motor.

They can however be swapped both ways with modification. Studebaker plugged the early '63's before phasing in the new smooth firewalls. [:0]

You mean it's cut six inches into the lower floorboards? Like back almost to the master cylinder? I have a 57 SH I'm parting, but there's some rust in the front floor at the driver's side; outboard.
