SI Christmas catalog!!

Got one yesterday. I love the regular catalog- it's always right next to my keyboard on my desk; so the Christmas edition is much appreciated! 44 pages of goodies to look at, and in a design you can fold open to a specific page and <<AHEM>> leave laying around for the family to see in <<AHEM>> plenty of time to order for Christmas gift giving

Every thing about SI is first class, where would we be with out them, and I say them because there is a full crew of good hard working people, I sure hope the Sasco buy out work out for them just a big endeavor to take on but as a Studebaker person glad they did it, thanks Ed and crew....Bob

Why would there need to be discounted items?? That's a bonus, not a requirement.

You can always get a 10% discount by spending over $500, or 15% over $1000. You can also get a restorer's package and save 15% off. That's the best deal I know of in the hobby!

Contrary to current popular belief, it's not a crime to make a profit!

I know the catalogs are expensive, but despite earning the 15% discount in'07, I'm apparently not a high enough roller to qualify for ANY of the coveted catalogs. Oh well - I guess its all online.

Bob, I haven't contacted them about it. I didn't take a catalog at the booth in Cedar Rapids because they said I would be getting one soon. To be honest I kind of forgot about it until this thread. Maybe I'll give 'em a call on Monday - I could use some good news.

I called in an order on Wed. this week and recieved it today,Fri,via UPS and had the catalog included in the box. I ask for one when I made the order and got it 2 days later.
I am new to SI and so far have no complaints.
