I agree. I have always thought that the trim on the '41 is one of the best designs ever. This car is a great example I love the red stripe and the red wheels. Wow! I have a busy day today and this starts it off on the correct foot. Thanks!

          Hey, Champ

Don't comment often, but I watch for and enjoy your eye candy posts every day. This one deserves special mention. It's a beauty and I would love to see more of it. Is there a reference you can provide where I might see more?

          Thanks,

Those Champion coupes are soooo cool. [] The paint on this one looks like you could walk into it. I have admired these cars ever I saw one at the Street Rod Nationals in Memphis years ago that had gold leaf between those trim strips.

And they looked even better when they were left unmolested.

I believe this is my second favorite Studebaker. I usually
like the original better, But, that black with red looks
mighty good. Was the black with red side trim offered on
                          original cars?

The black with the bright red insert was not a standard offering. Of course you could special order most any color if you wanted to pay the extra cost. Studebaker offered a Ruby Red and Maroon combination that was quite attractive.
