View Full Version : Studebaker competes at Maxton, NC and Loring, ME

This family is from York, Pennsylvania, and competes as a family with their '53 coupe in land speed racing. I met them at Maxton, but they also ran this summer at Loring, Maine. This is a link to a TV interview. I thought it was well done and certainly doesn't do the Studebaker hobby any harm either.

Really good story. It's amazing how good those coupes look nose down and flying down the track.

WOW is that ever awe inspiring!!!! I love the sound of that car. Starting and running down the track. Excuse me while I go take a cold shower...

he's been lurking at the York Swap meet for the past two years buying this and that to make his 54 Regal more like a Studebaker. This is a great story. Thanks for posting Joe. Keystone appreciates it as much as do those of us here.
