A very interesting use of the regal trim on the side and the "V" grill of a moderately radical custom. It keeps the Studebaker identity alive in the car.

Lot of work. Not an improvement unless it was front and rear ended. jimmijim

Lots of quality workmanship....but as another said...,IMHO, not at all a style improvement. Tough to modify/improve the classic C/K lines.

Looks like it could have been a candidate for the CARS movie. Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate all the work that went into it.

Actually, I prefer this car to some of the other customs C/Ks we have seen here. We haven't seen a side view, but it appears the mods haven't altered the profile of the car too much. Still has proper-looking headlights, and no nasty towel rack on the trunk lid.

Why does there seem to be so much interest in 55's. Did they make a ton of them? My least favorite of the 53 to 61's. But you do have to appreciate the work & money that went into this car.

Butt ugly, but to each his own, either way lots of work put into it. in fact more than a lot of work after a 2nd look, drip rails gone molded in rear window and side rears, I guess it is the front and the side trim I don't care for, but again to each his own that's what make the world go around..Bob

Put a stock 53 or 54 front clip on it and I'll clear out space for it in garage.
