    A '39 President front clip will not fit on a '40 Commander. It is too long as are the side panels. A '39 Commander front clip would probably fit but it would be mismatched. The '40 Commander hood is "by itself" and will not interchange with anything else.

        If you had a Champion I would be able to help. As it is, I am tired of hauling it around to swap meets and might use it as a sled this winter if we get some snow.
