Why are you waiting to bolt the steering wheel tight? Shouldn't it be aligned with the mark on the steering shaft and the tie rods adjuted to center the wheel?

Beautiful car, Congrats on gettin er done.
Thieves are a real bummer... Sure you didn't just bury it somewhere?
I know it could easily happen in my garage.

Beautiful car!! Are there more pics of it already up? If not, can I beg for some? Bummer about the plates, sounds like they were perfect for the car. Good Luck,Steve

Brad, I thought you could transfer a PA Antique tag from one vehicle to another. Also it is my understanding that you can also get a custom Antique Tag in PA with your own vehicle on it. I may be wrong but that is what I have been tod.

I'm with Don, Even though the Pa antique plates belong to the car (similar to old Ca black plates) I believe the plates can be bought and sold and even transfrerred (at least it was that way). Its a bummer yours are missing, Check with the DMV and see if they can be transferred, if so maybe you can come up with one at Reedsville

                        Brad,

That $50.00 you spent in 1979 was worth a lot more than $92.50 today.

                            Thieves....
Just hold em down and choke em till they give your stuff back. (kidding,... kinda)
My friend across the street from me just bought repops of a vintage Ca. plate for $150 but also told me that they are not legal to use???? Don't know why he bought them if he can't use them (legally) but hey, he's a grown man. Darned furd owners make no sense to me.
$92.00 and useable verses $150.00 and not sounds like a no brainer if you want those tags.
Just my opinion but I think I would want them.
It's all about those nice little finishing touches when you have a car as beautiful as yours.
And might I add I just love that paint color, Well done.
