  • Halloween Eye Candy 2009

After seeing this latest issue of Turning Wheels,I dug these pictures out. They were taken at a local indoor car show a few years back.

The stock Coupe Express was shown alongside a modified Coupe Express, and another forgettable model car all painted the same color.I do not remember the gentleman's name who owned them all,but I do recall him living in Elkhart Indiana,so I am guessing this is the same truck as on the cover of TW.

This is what powered the modified Express.

I think I remember that R3 Coupe Express selling at one of those big auctions sometime in the last few years...can't be that many yellow R3 powered Coupe Express's out there []

Both this truck and the one pictured on this month's TW cover have sealed beams in place of the regular bulb and reflector headlights. Maybe they are the same truck. Either way, it is (they are) be-you-ti-ful! LH
