Is it just me, or is that Lark seriously listing to the left, even considering the bank of the track? LH

I think in addition to the track bank, we have a curve going on here, and SPEED was a factor, plus more left hand passenger weight!

We were limited to a slow speed, but hey what is a guy gonna do, when he lags behind a bit and suddenly realizes he has a little space ahead of him! [)]

This car has a 259 with an R2 Cam and an Edelbrock 4 Barrel, and is no slug! [^] [] I talked to the owner at the 2007 International meet, which is when I believe this photo was taken. [^]

Tom, sold the Avanti very early last year to a mutual friend. The car has been updated a little to make it more road worthy. It was in Cedar Rapids and looks as good as ever. Here is a picture from the Studebaker display yours truly built for the AACA Museum last year.

Tom is currently completeing the restoration of a 1958 Packard Hawk that he bought from my brother, his B-I-L two years ago. The car has been in the family for about 30 years.
