Good question, I figured it was a ford. I know some of the chevys have electronic hookups. I think the tail section is the same if it has a mechanical drive though. I try to push the fords when i sell my kits. Also, dont forget to lube it before installation.

Thanks. Looks like the tag is on top so that will be a lot of fun to look at considering the transmission has been installed. Need to get one of those mirrors.

93 and later Chevy S10 T-5's used the Ford bolt pattern. I think all other Chevy T-5's used the wider Chevy pattern.
FlatErnie is the real expert on T-5's here. He hasn't posted in some time, but perhaps you can send him a PM.
Here's some info he provided over at the H.A.M.B.

It is matted up to a 289 and almost ready. Need a new drive shaft. Was not easy. Bellhouse had to have new tips welded on to mach the bolts for the transmission. I did a lot of research on this to make sure it went well. The clutch linkage bolted to the stud transmission so a new bracket had to be made. My brother made that.
I will get back under there and take some pics. Might take a few days, I am heading out of town.
I had a lot of people giving me advise on how to make this work. Can't wait to drive it.

How about you post a picture of it and post it on here? Is it mated to a studebaker V8? If so how did you go about it?

Well if you do it again I make a kit to easily install the trans with no welding and it has provisions for the clutch shaft support. You are using the ford style bolt pattern it you had to weld on tabs. If i were you id try the 65-66 mustang cable. It will cost less then $30 and I think you have a good shot of it working.
