A truly remarkable little car...here are two pix of it on show on the turntable at SNM during the '09 Crossroads ZM. Might this be the very first hardtop?

I wasn't aware that they had a roof like that. Thanks for posting the pic Steve!

It just needs a 5 inch top chop and a mouse motor.

Here is another picture that I snapped of the car. I have always thought that nearly every car of this era is a "Stand alone" work of art.

Actually, this one is sorta singular. Standard (U.S. bodied) Light Sixes didn't have a hartop style roof like this one. One thing the posted pictures don't show is the beautiful wood dashboard... in fact, the interior is as striking as the exterior. LH

I saw the car in '97 at the Int'l Meet in South Bend. It's on exhibit at the Stude Nat'l Museum. Really nice car.

Does anyone know the type of blue on this car?

Remarkably thin c-pillars for the era. So sporty and light. You just jumbled my "Top 10" list.

Some may not recognize Dave Holls name. He graduated with a degree in industrial design in 1952. He was with GM design from 1952 to his retirement in 1991. He was director of corporate design under Chuck Jordan. He was involved in the design of many cars that I appreciate, such as; 1959 Cadillac, 1963 Sting Ray, 1966 Riviera, 1968 Corvette, 1970 Monte Carlo and 1970 1/2 Camaro. I just realized that I have owned all but one (1963 Sting Ray) of these designs.
