  • Really nicely done Weasel hybrid on the 'bay

I would dearly love to have this.[8D] How the devil I'd get it back to California is the problem. Not to mention the cost.[:0][B)][8]

I think the ultimate Weasel would be a Weasel chassis with a Zip Van body mounted on top. Has anyone ever done this?

LOL, it would look like the vehicle the Robinsons had in the Lost In Space television programme!

There's not much Weasel left in it. The tracks are apparently home-made, which is not slagging it, because good original tracks are unobtainium.

There is an outfit in the USA supposedly making new tracks in the original pattern. $8000 a set, too.

If this were close to me, I'd snag it if it remained cheap. But shipping from Sweden would cost several thousand bucks.

Too bad the polar ice cap is melting, otherwise you could drive it home.

Don't worry, because it's a hybrid it will restore the polar ice every time you drive it.

Here's one closer to home. This is behind the Joy of Eating Cafe, in Vallego, Ca. I think it's a Weasel. This is a view from the dining room. The second photo is of the cafe.

klifton, that is indeed a Weasel, and looks pretty much unmolested, at that.

Actually looks like it has the original bows for the canvas top. That's a rather nice vinyard dump wagon next to it as well. I wonder if the owner would part with the Weasel and how much? Problem is, with the original treads on it, I couldn't take it on the road here in California. It would be really nice to know where they got those rubber treads from on the Swedish model.

Thats the best Swedish made video I've seen since 'Dancing Queen'. [8D] Not sure if I like the sound of that Volvo diesel though, I prefer the sounds of ABBA.
