  • Coachcraft, Ltd. - Interesting Company

Found this site while searching for something else.
Interesting company, with both Studebaker and Packard connections...
    Anyone have any further history?

The roadster that is the third picture down the left side of the Coachcraft link still exists, stunning in dark blue exterior with red interior. Interesting full custom car built originally for a 17 year old kid! Apparently not too spoiled the kid took the car to Europe while he completed his military tour - the car became known as the Yankee Doodle Roadster. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z...-Roadster.aspx

*edit* I noticed that the car that is in the 10th and 11th pictures of the Coachcraft link appears in the background of the Amelia Island Concours pictures of the Yankee Doodle Roadster. Given the high quality of the Coachcraft cars I'll bet that several more of their custom creations still exist.
