We got the insurance settlement from the accident,

and we just got this to replace it!!

    Not bad for $300 bucks!

(Insurance money covered all but the $300)

Nice find! Do you have any plans to change anything on it or drive and show it as is? Regardless, its a neat car.

Very nice!! But the optimist that I am, I still believe that Cruiser is fixable looking at the pic.

Take the 289 out of the wrecked car and put in the 2 door. [8D]

Craig, you could replace every component from the cowl forward, but I'd doubt if it would ever drive right. Looks like a nice parts car for the replacement. [^]

It will eventually get the 289 (after some upgrades) out of the wrecked car, and a t5 behind it. Also planning brake upgrades and a 2 tone paint job.

For now its gonna get put away till spring, it needs a master cylinder and kit in the carb and its a driver. We will be driving as a stocker for while. Got a couple other projects to finish up before I can get to it.

The wrecked car has both framerails kinked at the firewall, its a nice donor. Still a shame, makes me wanna cry.

Someday I hope to build something like the Lunar Lander from the remains.

Personally, i like the little Stude 6 engine. A little gutless with an automatic though.

You didn't happen to buy that car at an auction in Hamilton Illinois?
Their sale flyer had a car just like that in it.

Cool deal! BTW, I've got a perfect 63 Cruiser frame here that would love to find a new purpose in life.
